Sunday was a wrap for the 24th Annual Topeka Area Pond Tour and it was a big success. This years tour included 9 residential ponds, 3 bonus commercial and public areas. Viewed by hundreds, it was a hit. Our weather was perfect both days and the touring guests had plenty of hospitality from the Pond Hosts. Our Pond Sitters were magnificant and greeted each visitor with a smile and helpful instrucrtions on where to go. Some of the Pond Hosts even provided chilled lemonade, water with citrus and one even offered (if you where daring) to share there home grown chili peppers they had dehydrated, crushed and growned. Wow! I dared, I lost. It was hot stuff and only for the true culinary exstraodinaire.
Every water feature was unique and offered a personal story that was interesting, enlighting and so much fun to explore. From front yard gental flowing stream/bogs
