Novembers Meeting
Our guest speaker is Garrett with G&M Lawns and he will introduce himself and his new water store while we start to eat. Garrett bought the inventory of WaterScapes and will be opening a full service Water Garden store in Valley Falls and will be carrying everything you need to start or maintain a water feature. He also will be installing water features in his local area. Garrett is excited to be a part of TAWGS and will impact the clubs options greatly. he can tell you how.
We will also be honoring Scott Williams with KTWU and Sunflower Journeys for a documentary well produced. Scott and his partner will be attending to receive a nice gift we approved at our last meeting.
If you have a door prize to donate, bring it on. everyone likes a prize.
As for the business side of things. We will be forming the 2017 Garden Show Committee to get a jump start on the TAWGS booth as it's will shrink in size do to Shawnee County and Bob Sathoff pulling out and concentrating in another area of the show. I have spoke with Leland Hiefner and started the process of working with a smaller space. He needs a decsison by November 25th. I am also in talks with TBA as they decide if they will be a part of us, or possibly merge with us, or simply ride into the sunset. I will report that information after attending thier monthly meeting Monday November 14th.
Don't let this month's cooler weather and shorter days draw you into your cave, come on out and enjoy our last meeting of 2016.
See you there.
